How to choose a photographer:
On your wedding day you will be spending more time with the photographer than anyone else. So it's important to get to know your photographer before hand to ensure you can stand being around him/her for the day.
You need to at least understand what their process is. For example, how will photographs be taken during preparation? What about when the dress goes on. While some brides would like pictures of her dress going on, others would prefer to have the photographer step out of the room.
I put together a document on what to ask a photographer and the overall selection process. You really don't have to read it since you already have found me. Just give me a call. . . You know you want to. Ok, then just send me an email to say hi. randy@randysfineart.com
Wedding Photographers Checklist
This is an excellent way to determine what it is you're looking for in a photographer. It will help answer at least two critical questions.
- How long will you need a photographer?
- Will you require two photographers?
Do you want photos of the bride and the groom getting ready? What about arrivals to and from the ceremony?
You can find our convenient checklist here.
